LeAnn Faye (Jacobson) Larson, 63, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at her home in Grand Forks.
LeAnn was born to Jewitt and Lorraine (Opsahl) Jacobson on April 2, 1950, in Detroit Lakes. In 1965 the family moved to Wahpeton, N.D. She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1968.
LeAnn began the LPN program at the North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton, completing it in 1969.
She married Dwight Moses in 1969. They farmed by Noonan, N.D. LeAnn worked at the Noonan Nursing Home until opening a fabric store in Crosby, N.D. She was a talented sewer and enjoyed knitting.
The family moved to Grand Forks in 1984, at which time LeAnn returned to her nursing profession as a charge nurse for Valley Memorial Homes. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and those with Alzheimer's.
LeAnn loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving LeAnn are her children, Chad (Andrea) Moses, Alicia (Mike) Moreland and Cory Moses; grandchildren, Kelsey, Shaylee, Ali, Aiden and Chase; sister, Jan (Mike) Benson; as well as some aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services took place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 in Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, with interment in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks, continuing for the hour prior to Saturday's services at the church.
