Letter: Minnesota should adopt Calififornia clean car standards
The Detroit Lakes Tribune Online ran a story on Feb. 15 addressing the concerns of a few rural legislators regarding the proposed Minnesota Clean Car Act.
Twelve other states have already adopted the California Clean Car Standards. That California came up with a good idea is not the point.
The proposed Minnesota Clean Car Act presents an opportunity to not only act on a good idea, but also to do the right thing.

Minnesota should join the other states that have already done so by adopting the California Clean Car Standards. -- Jack Fay, Detroit Lakes
