I am astounded at Principal Helen Kennedy's ability to ignore her own attitude toward the MCA testing.
I tried to use the MCA test scores as a measure of the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth District's ability to engage and educate American Indian students. I was told repeatedly by Principal Kennedy that those scores didn't mean much. It was only a snapshot in time.
I am also astounded at Principal Helen Kennedy's ability to actually blame the school's failure to engage and educate all of the district's students on minors who are simply enacting the identical attitude that administrator Kennedy vocalized regarding the MCA tests.
