Library hires Frazee native
Lake Agassiz Regional Library recently hired Janelle Brandon as its new public information/marketing director.
Brandon will develop and manage all aspects of its marketing program, including public relations, web site enhancements and customer outreach programs to raise visibility and awareness of individual branches, LINK Sites and the regional system as a whole.
Brandon is a 2000 graduate of Frazee High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis with a B. A. in Theatre Arts.
She lives in Moorhead with her husband, Lukas and their son, Dylan.
Janelle has a rich history with Lake Agassiz Regional Library.
Her mother, Patricia Nunn of rural Frazee, was a children's librarian for 15 years for Detroit Lakes Library.
Brandon was a Junior Friend of Detroit Lakes Library as well as a library aide through her high school years.
"We are excited to have Ms. Brandon re-join our team of professionals," said Kathy Fredette, LARL Regional Library Director. "Janelle brings experience in helping expand our presence in the region through the establishment of professionally designed and executed marketing programs."
Brandon has over five years of business experience. At her most recent employer, History Theatre in St. Paul, she was the director of marketing and public relations.
Prior to that, Janelle served as a marketing associate for Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul.
LARL serves the residents of Becker, Clay, Clearwater, Mahnomen, Norman, Polk and Wilkin counties, with branch libraries in Ada, Bagley, Barnesville, Breckenridge, Climax, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Fertile, Fosston, Hawley, Mahnomen, McIntosh and Moorhead and LINK sites in Cormorant, Frazee, Gonvick, Halstad, Hendrum, Lake Park, Rothsay, Shelly, Twin Valley and Ulen.
