PIANO-GUITAR DUO Kathryn Knuttila and Andy Karg will perform a special holiday concert this Saturday, Dec. 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Lodge on Lake Detroit. Pianist Knuttila is a Detroit Lakes native; Karg (acoustic guitar and vocals) hails from Nashville, Tenn.

The Lodge on Lake Detroit will hold two special "Live at the Lodge" concerts during the holiday season.

The first, on Saturday, Dec. 26, from 7 to 10 p.m., features a return performance by Detroit Lakes native Kathryn Knuttila on piano and Andy Karg on acoustic guitar and vocals.

Andy is a Nashville musician and songwriter. His style ranges anywhere from Roy Orbison to Tom Petty. He has traveled all over the nation playing cover hits and his originals. Kathryn, is an accomplished pianist, composer and teacher. Together, they combine unique musical blends to form a harmony driven duo. There is a $5 cover charge for this event (waived for hotel guests).

On Thursday, Dec. 31, from 7 to 10 p.m., the public is invited to stop in to enjoy "Ivory Perfume," with pianist Carol Ledeboer-Johnson -- Ivory Perfume. She delights audiences by honoring special music requests during her performances. This event is free and open to both hotel guests and the public; no cover charge.
