The Detroit Lakes man who drowned while swimming off a pontoon on Long Lake Sunday has been identified. Authorities say 47 year old Barry Ellegaard was found in 34 feet of water this morning. Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon says Ellegaard was apparently struck by the propeller after inadvertently leaving the motor in gear prior to jumping off the bow of the pontoon to swim. Ellegaard's body was found this morning at around 9:40.
