Looking for punks
Earlier this month, about 8 p.m. on a Thursday, I was walking on the sidewalk with my dog, heading east on North Shore Drive. It was raining and the curb gutters were fairly full of water flowing into the storm water system.
All of a sudden, a car heading west swerved into the gutter against the curb, causing a tidal wave of muddy water to soak and momentarily blind me.
At the same time, these cowardly young hoodlums screamed and laughed with joy at soaking a 74-year-old man that could not catch them as the cowards raced away.
What kind of upbringing do you think these young thugs have had? I would love to visit with all of them and give them a quick lesson in respect for others.
