Blizzard conditions are forecasted to continue the rest of Sunday before letting up by Monday morning.

A blizzard warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday in west Becker County. There is a winter storm warning in effect for the rest of the area until 6 a.m. Monday.

The greatest snow accumulations will occur on and south of a line from Fargo to Bemidji where 7 to 14 inches of snow could fall by tonight.

Arctic air rushes in behind the storm, causing temperatures to fall dangerously low.

Temperatures won't likely get out of the single digits for the rest of the week.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.

This Afternoon: Snow and widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Temperature falling to around -8 by 5pm. Wind chill values as low as -37. Windy, with a north wind between 24 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow and widespread blowing snow, mainly before 9pm. Low around -12. Wind chill values as low as -38. Windy, with a north northwest wind between 21 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Monday: Areas of blowing snow before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny and cold, with a high near -8. Wind chill values as low as -38. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 18 to 21 mph decreasing to between 10 and 13 mph. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -20. Wind chill values as low as -34. West southwest wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near -4. South southwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around -13.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 4.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -14.

Thursday: A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 9.

Thursday Night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -2.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 8.
