The Lake Park-Audubon football team improved to 5-2 on the season with a 33-6 victory over Red Lake County Friday.

Brian Gordon found the end zone three times for LP-A, as Kenyon O'Brien and Jesse Wixo each scored for the Raiders.

O'Brien rushed for 110 yards, including a long run of 42, on 18 carries. The Raider running back is second in the Northern Plains Conference (small school) in rushing with 714 yards on 116 carries and 10 touchdowns.

Gordon had 48 yards on the ground and threw for 57 yards and a touchdown, which went to Wixo on a 35-yard pass play.

LP-A is third in the conference with a 4-2 mark, behind Warren-Alvarado-Oslo (6-0) and Fosston (5-1).

The Raiders will look to pull even with Fosston today at 1 p.m. at the FargoDome in their regular season finale.
