LP-A volleyball falls to No. 8 Ada-Borup

The measuring stick was out for the Lake Park-Audubon volleyball team as they saw how they stacked up against No. 8 Class 1A ranked Ada-Borup Tuesday evening.

Unforced errors were the main hindrance for the Raiders, who dropped the match 3-1 by the scores of 25-18, 25-10 and 25-19. They took set two 25-17 after refocusing.

"The first two games, we were committing too many unforced errors, in which we would win one or two points, then lose it on passing errors," said LP-A head coach Mike Summers.

"But it was a good challenge for the girls and we are still off to a great start to the season."

The Raiders drop to 8-2, while the Cougars improve to 11-0.

LP-A's Andrea Knudsvig led the team in kills with 10, while Tatum Hall added a team-high 22 assists.

The Raiders will host Fertile-Beltrami (3-2) Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. start.
