LP-A Volleyball - Raiders climb back to .500
Getting back above water was a goal of the Lake Park-Audubon volleyball team, as they concluded their regular season 13-13 after a 3-0 win over Bagley Tuesday, by the scores of 25-10, 25-15 and 25-23.
The victory also extended their winning streak to four games, as the Raiders head into the playoffs with some good momentum.
"We met our mini-goal by getting back to .500 and that helps build our confidence and show the girls they are capable of being good in the playoffs," said LP-A head coach Mike Summers. "We need to be confident, or else we will be done playing quickly."
Emily Sunram and Bailee Bartunek had eight kills apiece in the sweep over the Flyers Tuesday, while Carissa Raaen posted five kills.
Rilee Burnside had 12 assists, while Emma Ulmer recorded 10 digs.
"There is a sense of urgency now and our serving has become a strength for us," Summers said. "If we can keep playing well on defense and continue to improve with our serve-receive, we can be contenders."
