M State celebrates Dec. commencement
Minnesota State Community and Technical College will celebrate the graduation of 356 students in a combined commencement on Tuesday, Dec. 17, in Moorhead.
Graduates from the college’s campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena and the online eCampus program will participate in the 2 p.m. ceremony at the Knutson Campus Center at Concordia College.
It’s the first time M State has marked fall semester graduation in a combined ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend, and no tickets are required.
Also in December, M State nursing students will celebrate completion of their programs with the traditional pinning ceremonies for nurses. Ceremonies are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, for Associate Degree nursing students on the Detroit Lakes campus and 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, for Practical Nursing students on the Moorhead campus.
As a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, M State serves more than 9,000 students in credit courses each year in more than 70 career and liberal arts programs at its four campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena, and through eCampus.
By partnering with communities, the college also provides custom training services and other responsive training programs.
