M State changes to one call format
Minnesota State Community and Technical College has created a college-wide help line to assist callers to any of the college's four campuses or online programs. The help line can be reached by calling 1-877-450-3322 or the main number to the M State campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena.
"The M State Call Center was created to help our customers navigate the paperwork and financial planning process that's involved with attending college," said Carrie Brimhall, M State's dean of enrollment. "Prospective students often have questions about forms and requirements, and our goal is to provide answers as quickly and conveniently as possible."
The Call Center staff can help customers check on admission status, apply to college, apply for financial aid or scholarships, register for courses and locate forms and information on the college Web site, www.minnesota.edu.
Call Center hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.
"The Call Center is amazing," said Brenda Kava, one of the Call Center's resource specialists. "We're able to help students with such a wide range of questions."
For questions about fall admission to M State, contact the help line at 1-877-450-3322. The deadline for fall semester admission is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 24.
