Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) instructors Dixie Fjeld and Kent Reisenauer have been named as recipients of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award.
Fjeld is an instructor for the Administrative Support program at Minnesota State - Moorhead and Reisenauer is an instructor in the PowerSports Technology program at M State - Detroit Lakes.
Fjeld and Reisenauer will be formally honored at the NISOD International Conference on Teaching and Learning in Austin, Texas, at the end of May.
This year marks the second consecutive year M State is sending two award recipients to NISOD.
"Dixie and Kent are great examples of the teaching excellence that exists throughout our college. We're pleased to have them represent the college at an interna-tional forum and receive some well-deserved recognition," said Dr. Barry Lane, Vice President of Learning Services.
