‘Magic of Dr. Seuss’ at area libraries next week

“The Magic of Dr. Seuss,” a fun-filled reading celebration inspired by the funny, wacky and wonderful world of Dr. Seuss, will be presented this Monday, March 17 at 10 a.m. in the Detroit Lakes Public Library.

This event encourages lots of audience participation and features amazing macig, designed to illustrate the characters in Dr. Seuss’s enduringly popular books.

The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located at 1000 Washington Ave. Call 218-847-2168 for more information.

Other performances at area Lake Agassiz Regional Library locations will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, March 18: Barnesville Library, 1 p.m.; Hawley Library, 3:30 p.m.; McIntosh Library, 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 19: Moorhead Library, 10:30 a.m.; Breckenridge Elementary School, 1:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 20: Mahnomen Elementary School, 10 a.m.; Bagley Elementary School, 1:30 p.m.
  • Friday, March 21: Crookston Library, 10 a.m.; Fosston Library Theatre, 1:45 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 22: Fertile Library, 10:30 a.m.
