Making, marketing jams, jellies workshop is March 26

"Making and Marketing Jams & Jellies" is a workshop for those interested in the safe home production of quality jams and jellies for farmers' markets or community events.

The workshop will address producing a quality product, home processing and equipment, food safety from harvest to process, operational guidelines for the sale of jams and jellies, and labeling and documentation.

The workshop will be held just west of St. Cloud on March 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Community Park Pavilion in Waite Park. Conducting the workshop are U of M Extension Educators in food science Deb Botzek-Linn and Lou Ann Jopp. Registration fee is $20.
