Travis Aaron Rosebear, 21, took care of the 15-month-old girl and five other children while their parents were away. Investigators said he admitted he carried the girl by one arm and swinging her down a hallway after becoming frustrated sometime between Dec. 31, 2011, and Jan. 3, 2012.

Her arm was fractured as a result, and she had a bruise in the back of her head, they said.

Rosebear, who pleaded guilty in federal court in Minneapolis, faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison. His sentencing has not been scheduled.
