Man airlifted to Fargo hospital after sledding accident
A 19-year-old man was injured while sledding Sunday at the Wolf Lake sledding hill.
Kent Edward Leukuma of Orono, Minn., was sledding on a foam-type sled when he apparently lost control and struck his head on an icy portion of the hill.
He suffered a serious head injury and was airlifted via North Memorial Helicopter to Innovis Hospital in Fargo, according to a news release from the Becker County Sheriff's Department.
He was listed in stable condition Wednesday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesman.
