Man allegedly caught with mushrooms, cash at 10KLF
Justin Christopher Stuelke, 23, of 6910 Glenwood Ave., Golden Valley, Minn., has been charged in Becker County District Court with fourth-degree controlled substance crime, possession, and fifth-degree controlled substance crime, possession. Both are felonies.
On Saturday afternoon, a deputy was dispatched to the Lake Sallie Campground at the 10,000 Lakes Festival on the report of discovery of drugs by festival security personnel.
The security worker handed the deputy two one gallon zip-lock bags. One was three-fourths full of hallucinogenic mushrooms. The other contained $5,080 in cash. A small bag of cocaine was also turned over, according to court records.
Security workers had confiscated the items from a tent belonging to Stuelke, who also had $1,275 in cash on him at the time of his arrest. He allegedly admitted that the tent and the items in it were his.
He appeared Monday before District Judge Peter Irvine, who set cash bail at $1,000 or bond at $5,000. Stuelke's next court appearance is Sept. 8.
