Jeremy James Potter, 39, of 35947 Beaver Trail, Ogema, was charged in relation to two separate incidents in which he allegedly violated a no contact order filed on Sept. 22, 2008, as a condition of his release on a felony domestic assault case.

According to a complaint filed Friday, Jan. 23, the first violation occurred on Oct. 19, 2008, when an assault was reported at Potter's home. Witnesses reported that both Potter and the woman with whom he was to have no contact were inside the home when the incident was reported.

The second violation allegedly occurred on Jan. 5 of this year, when the same woman was involved in a car accident. Potter was spotted inside the vehicle she was driving.

Both felony charges carry a maximum penalty of five years in jail and/or a $10,000 fine.
