Man gets jail, fine for drugs found at 10,000 Lakes Fest
A Golden Valley man was given a stayed prison sentence and up to five years of supervised probation on a felony drug charge last week in Becker County District Court.
Justin Christopher Stuelke, 24, of 6910 Glenwood Ave., Golden Valley, was also ordered to serve 29 days in jail and pay $1,090 in court fines and fees on the charge of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance.
The charge, and a second felony count that was dismissed, involved a July 26, 2008 incident at the Lake Sallie campground outside the 10,000 Lakes Festival south of Detroit Lakes. Drugs including psychedelic mushrooms and cocaine were found in Stuelke's tent, along with several thousand dollars in cash.
