Man gets jail for stolen goods
A Moorhead man has been sentenced in Becker county District Court on a charge of receiving stolen property.
Adam Todd Thielges, 25, of 1224 15th Ave. N., Moorhead, was given a 13-month prison sentence, stayed on conditions including completion of 163 days in jail (already served), up to five years of supervised probation and payment of a $210 fine and fees, plus $473 restitution for damages.
A second charge of misdemeanor drug possession was dismissed.
Thielges was accused of being involved in the theft of a CD player/car stereo, spoiler, gauge and other items form a vehicle parked outside a Detroit Lakes business on Sept. 10. In addition, the driver’s side window was smashed in to gain entry. A total of about $1,000 in damages was reported in the incident.
