Man injured in stabbing on Monday
A 26-year-old Detroit Lakes man suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries Monday after being stabbed in the leg by another man at the Graystone Apartments in downtown Detroit Lakes.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital, according to Detroit Lakes Police Sgt. Chad Glander.
There is a suspect in the case.
The incident was reported about 7:40 p.m., when police responded to a report of an assault with a weapon. The man had been stabbed in the lower leg and had suffered some facial injuries, Glander said.
