Man sentenced for selling crack cocaine
Donald Eugene Jackson, 50, of 36070 Lynx Lane, White Earth has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony third-degree controlled substance crime, sale.
According to court records:
On March 12 of 2008, Jackson allegedly sold .7 grams of crack cocaine for $300 to a confidential reliable informant working for the Becker County Sheriff's Department.
On Wednesday, District Judge Peter Irvine stayed imposition of sentence for 20 years and placed him on supervised probation for 20 years.
He must serve 30 days in jail and another 30 days on electronic home monitoring at his own expense. STS privileges were granted.
He was fined $1,000 plus court fees and $315 restitution. He must get a chemical use evaluation and follow the recommendations.
