Marco takes home Sharp awards
Marco, Inc. recently competed in the Sharp Information and Imaging Company of America (SIICA) Master Technician Competition.
With more than 3,000 technicians representing approximately 425 dealerships from all 50 states, the Sharp Master Technician Competition pitted technicians against each other in a series of competitions that tested their knowledge and understanding of Sharp document imaging solutions.
With a strong showing, three Marco technicians placed in the top 150 participants, achieving the Sharp Master Technician - Superior Level.
The Master Technician Competition tested technicians on knowledge of a number of topics, including networking, printing and Sharp OSA technology.
Each technician from Marco was asked to demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of Sharp document solutions, both in written form as well as hands-on experience.
David Mattos, Gregg Carlson, and Jeff Jones achieved the Sharp Master Technician - Superior Level during the competition.
The Sharp Master Technician - Superior Level represents an advanced stage of expertise, with only 150 technicians nationwide achieving such status.
Rich Boomsma, Vice President Sales, Sharp Information and Imaging Company of America, was impressed with the level of expertise displayed throughout the competition.
"It is clear to me that Sharp dealers and technicians are some of the most talented in the industry," Boomsma said. "On behalf of everyone at Sharp, I would like to congratulate Marco, and all of our dealers, on a job well done. We look forward continued success from their entire team."
