Marian A. Weisgerber, 80, of Frazee, died November 2, 2008 at her home in Frazee.
Marian A. Tangen was born to Alfred and Mina Tangen on Oct. 27, 1928 in Perham. She graduated from Frazee High School in 1947 and married Fred Weisgerber on July 2, 1947. She worked at Hartz Store and then worked for Lakeland Turkey Processing, which became Swift-Eckridge. She retired when the plant closed down. Marian was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she served as president of Ladies Aid and Guild, and participated in many church activities. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Marian is survived by her sons, Dan (Joy) Weisgerber and David (Sandy Johnson) Weisgerber; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Preceding Marian in death were her husband, Fred; sister, Agnes Neu; her parents, Alfred and Mina Tangen; and nephew, John Potter.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Furey Funeral Home, Frazee, with a 4 p.m. prayer service, and continuing for one hour prior to services at church on Thursday.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Frazee. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Frazee.
