Melissa Lage participating in Leadership Minnesota program
Melissa Lage, Detroit Lakes, is among nearly 30 business leaders from across the state participating in an exclusive program of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce addressing the economic and public policy issues of Minnesota businesses. Lage is vice president of marketing at SJE-Rhombus Controls.
Leadership Minnesota provides an inside look at Minnesota's changing economy and the issues that will shape its future. Participants include mid- to high-level managers, presidents and business owners from diverse business sectors across Minnesota.
Participants will travel the state for five, two-day sessions where they will be exposed to a variety of businesses that drive Minnesota's economy. Partici-pants will have the opportunity to talk with state business and political leaders.
"This is a unique combination of opportunities that will allow business leaders like Melissa to spend time learning about the different regions of the state," said Leadership Minnesota chair David Minkkinen, managing partner of BearingPoint, St. Paul. "Participants will gain a greater understanding on what drives Minnesota's economy and how they can make an impact on the business climate in our state."
