Menahga man charged for voting in school bond election
A Menahga man is in hot water for voting on a school bond issue.
David Rudolph Haataja, 25, is a convicted felon and prohibited from voting, according to court documents. He could face a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine for a charge of unlawful voting, which was filed May 21 in Wadena County District Court.
Haataja was convicted of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, a felony, in 2009.
