Mini economic summit set for May 22
The Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce presents "Transform 2010" held Thursday, May 22, 7:30-9 a.m., in Ulteig Engineers, 1041 Hawk St. and Richwood Road.
LaRhea Knatterud, director of Aging Transformation for the Department of Human Services, will speak on the aging of baby boomers and the effect it will have on the work force.
Within only a few years we will need to be more creative with ways to keep our boomers involved. How do we maximize career length? What can we do to draw these people to our Community? How do we transfer their knowledge to the next generation. This is a very timely topic that concerns many employers as they look at the future.
