Minnesota man found guilty of killing wife

HASTINGS, Minn. -- A Dakota County jury on Tuesday found Roger Holland guilty of killing his pregnant wife in March, and a judge sentenced him to two life terms in prison without the possibility of parole.

The jury returned its verdict after deliberating 11 hours.

Holland was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder in the killing of Margorie Holland in their Apple Valley home.

The conviction of Holland, 37, will be automatically appealed to the state Supreme Court.
