Minnie Fagerlie, 94, of Detroit Lakes, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes.
Minnie, the daughter of Ole and Nicoline (Malvick) Fagerlie, was born on March 18, 1919 in rural Audubon. She graduated from Audubon High School in 1937.
Minnie and her sister, Julia owned a grocery store in Detroit Lakes in the early 1940s. They later moved to Denver, Colo., where Minnie worked for Mountain Bell as a secretary until retiring in the mid-1970s. After her retirement she returned to the Detroit Lakes area.
Minnie is survived by many Fagerlie and Sletmoen cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Julia Fagerlie.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at West-Kjos Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, with visitation for one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, rural Audubon.
