Missing Melrose, Minn., woman found dead on farm

MELROSE, Minn. -- A Melrose woman missing since Thursday afternoon was found dead Friday on a Melrose-area farm, the St. Cloud Times reported.

Clara Pundsack, 83, was last seen about 4 p.m. Thursday when leaving her home, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Pundsack was found dead around 5:30 p.m. by a building on the farm site, Stearns County Sgt. Andrew Rose told the Times on Friday evening, adding that there was no indication the death was suspicious.

Rose told the Times he had no information about Pundsack’s health, including whether she had dementia.
