Missouri man sentenced for drugs sales at 10K Fest
Alexander Von Stauferbiel, 23, of Arnold, Mo., has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for selling drugs last year at the 10,000 Lakes Festival.
On June 11, he pleaded guilty to felony second-degree controlled substance crime, possession with intent to sell.
Five other felony controlled substance crime charges were dismissed in a plea agreement.
Tipped of by festival security workers, law enforcement officers on July 20, 2007, found a number of drugs in his vehicle -- including 359 ecstasy pills in a variety of packaging, a number of paper slips containing LSD, 5 valium pills, 16 OxyContin pills, 10 Methadone pills, and marijuana packaged in various weight sizes.
He also had $1,800 cash in his right shoe and $860 cash in his left shoe, according to court records.
On Thursday, District Judge Peter Irvine sentenced him to 41 months in prison, with credit for time served, and ordered him to pay a $50 fine plus court fees from his prison earnings.
