MOORHEAD – Police seized 5 pounds of pot while executing a search warrant here on Thursday, the latest in a string of drug busts allegedly involving medical marijuana imported from states that have legalized it.

Investigators conducted the search Thursday afternoon at 415 3rd Ave. S., also seizing more than $5,000 in cash, a 9 mm pistol and a .270-caliber rifle, according to a news release from Lt. Tory Jacobson.
