Moorhead police still looking for suspected gunmen in shooting
MOORHEAD – Bail was set at $500,000 without conditions today for a Fargo man charged in connection with a drug-related shooting here last Wednesday.
Tyshawn Darden, 19, appeared in Clay County District Court on five felony charges including aiding and abetting attempted murder, aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and conspiracy to sell drugs.
The shooting victim, Anthony Sands of Moorhead, was hospitalized for gunshots to the arm and abdomen.
Darden can post a reduced bail of $250,000 with conditions, such as having no contact with Sands.
Another man charged in the case, Michael Crittenden, 23, of Moorhead, appeared Friday on similar charges. His bail was also set at $500,000 without conditions and $40,000 with conditions.
The suspected gunman, Samuel Bullock Jr., hasn’t been arrested and is considered armed and dangerous, said Moorhead police Sgt. Steve Larson.
According to court records, police suspect Bullock of shooting Sands with a rifle as he said he wanted to rob Sands of drug and cash. Police allege they seized 2.2 pounds of marijuana and $11,000 in cash from Sands’ home at 1107 17th St. S.
Police allege in charges that Darden was waiting outside when the shooting happened and that Crittenden set up the meeting.
