There is a catch, as the Internet coverage is limited to cable and satellite TV subscribers of participating companies.

Locally, viewers are in luck, as Arvig Communications Systems, DirecTV and Dish Network reached a deal with NBC Universal to allow their customers to watch the Games.

Internet coverage will work on Windows and Apple computers connected to high-speed Internet. All viewers need to have on their computers is Microsoft's Silverlight program.

For those without Silverlight, NBCOlympics.

com will prompt viewers to install it.

Those without cable or satellite are limited to watching highlights of events.
