Motorcyclist killed after striking deer in Otter Tail County identified

The driver of a motorcycle killed when he struck a deer Friday in Otter Tail County was identified Saturday by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Thomas E. Turner, 44, Alexandria, Minn., died after his motorcycle struck a deer on Highway 210 two miles east of Highway 29.

Joan M. Turner, 45, a passenger, was airlifted from Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minn., to North Memorial in Robbinsdale, Minn., where she remained Saturday in critical but stable condition.
