'Mr. History' comes to Detroit Lakes Library March 12
If it had not been for the original Lake Agassiz, the largest glacial lake in the history of the world, the Red River (and likely all of us) would never have been here.
Learn more from “Mr. History,” Steve Stark, when he visits the Detroit Lakes Public Library on Wednesday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m.
Stark will highlight the history of the state of Minnesota in story format, while drawing murals to illustrate his tales, during this presentation of “Lake Agassiz: Drawn to History.”
Stark will also be presenting the program at the Frazee Library LINK Site on Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m., and at the Cormorant Library LINK Site on Thursday, March 13 at 4:30 p.m.
All three programs are free and open to the public.
This programming is sponsored by Lake Agassiz Regional Library and supported in part with money from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
