Nancy Auch, 71, of Bismarck, N.D., died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck.
A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. There will be no visitation.
Nancy's wish was to have her body donated to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
Nancy was born the daughter of James and Matilda (Knoll) Miller on March 8, 1938, in Bismarck. Her father passed away when she was in infancy, and her mother married Ivar Nelson. Nancy grew up and attended school in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School.
Nancy attended Bismarck Junior College and earned a degree in medical technology. In 1958, she married Edwin Auch in Bismarck.
Nancy enjoyed crafts, singing, and helping others in need.
She is survived by her children, Colene Hill of Frazee, Robert (Elizabeth) Auch of Benson, Minn., and Teri (Kevin) Stastny of Bismarck; her five grandchildren, Cody Magnan, Brandi Jude, Alex Stastny, Emily Auch, and Bridget Auch; and her great grandchild, Dakota Jude.
Preceding Nancy in death were her parents; James Miller and Matilda Nelson, and stepfather, Ivar Nelson; and her former husband, Edwin.
