Naytahwaush man gets prison for DL burglary
A Naytahwaush man has been sentenced to 34 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of first degree burglary for breaking into a Detroit Lakes home last July.
Adrian Trent Olson, 25, of 29733 260th St., Naytahwaush, was also ordered to pay $210 in court fines and fees from his prison earnings, and to supply a DNA sample to authorities.
According to the criminal complaint, a Detroit Lakes resident awoke in his home on July 5 and found Olson in his basement. He forced Olson out and called police.
Olson was arrested after a brief pursuit. The victim stated Olson must have broken in the night before while the July 4 fireworks were going on.
When Olson was arrested, he was found to be in possession of multiple credit and debit cards, a fishing license and a cell phone, all of which belonged to people residing at the Detroit Lakes home.
