BABY CARRIERS

Beco Baby Carrier Inc. is recalling "Beco Butterfly" Infant Carriers sold

nationwide from January to February 2008. The buckles on the carrier

shoulder straps can unexpectedly release tension, causing the strap to slip

through, posing a fall hazard to the baby.

The recalled infant carriers were sold under brand name "Beco Baby Carrier

Butterfly." The carriers have a black label with a green "b" logo on the

left side and a butterfly on the right side. The label is sewn on the

outside of the carrier. The following carrier styles are included in the

recall: Mia, Pony Express, Carnival, Addison, Ethan, Sophia, Cameron, Ava

and Joshua.

BICYCLE RESISTANCE TRAINERS

Nashbar Direct Inc. is recalling 2008 Travel Trac Gravity Inertial Trainers

sold nationwide from January 2008 to February 2008. The springs in the

resistance trainers can unhook and become a projectile, posing a puncture

hazard to users or bystanders.

The recalled trainers are folding stands that lift and apply resistance to

the rear wheel of a standard bike, converting the bike into a stationary

trainer. The recall includes Travel Trac Gravity Inertial Trainers (catalog

# NB-TTMIF) with a looping black base with two red support arms. Travel Trac

is printed in white on the right support arm and Millennium is printed in

white on the left arm. Inertial is printed on the top of the right arm in

black with a white border. The item number is also printed on the bottom of

the last page of the owner's manual.

TRAVEL TRAC TRAINERS

Performance Inc. is recalling 2007 and 2008 Performance Travel Trac Trainers

sold nationwide from October 2006 to March 2008. The springs in the

resistance trainers can unhook and become a projectile, posing a puncture

hazard to users or bystanders.

The recalled trainers are folding stands that lift and apply resistance to

the rear wheel of a standard bike, converting the bike into a stationary

trainer. There are three Travel Trac (TT) models included in the recall. The

TT Inertial and TT I-Force Wireless use the same stand, with a looping black

base and two red bike support arms. Along the right arm is Travel Trac

printed in white. "Millennium" is printed along the left arm of the stand on

a vertical white decal. TT Inertial and I-Force Wireless have black

horizontal decals. The TT Millennium I-Force has a collapsible black stand

with Travel Trac and I-Force vertical white decals and Inertial in small red

letters. The item numbers are printed on the bottom of the last page of the

owner's manual.

Consumers should return the trainers to the local Performance store for a

refund, repair or credit.

GAS REGULATORS

Fisher Controls International is recalling Fisher Model R622H 1st stage LP

gas regulators sold nationwide from June 2006 to January 2008. Gas can leak

from regulator when the diaphragm pulls inward into the casing, posing a

fire or explosion hazard.

The recalled gas regulators were manufactured from June 2006 through January

2008 and installed on LP-gas supply systems in homes and small commercial

buildings (see photo below). The recall involves model R622H LP-gas

regulators with type numbers in the table below:

Consumers contact the company that provides their LP-gas services to

determine if they should receive a replacement regulator.

ELECTRIC SIMMER POTS

Waxcessories® Inc. is recalling Electric Simmer Pots sold nationwide from

April 2002 to April 2008. The simmer pots have wire connections that can

become loose, posing a risk of fire and electric shock.

The electric simmer pots were sold in a variety of styles and were designed

to melt scented wax in a ceramic cup. The cup sits on a ceramic base that

contains a 40-watt bulb, socket and electric cord. The recall includes all

designs of the electric simmer pots and all item numbers. The words

"ELECTRIC SIMMER POT" and the design name are printed on the bar code label,

which is located on the bottom of the base
