FERGUS FALLS -- Eight runs were definitely a key in the Detroit Lakes baseball team's 8-1 Section 8-2A third-round win over the North's No. 1 seeded Warroad, but it was what didn't happen in the fourth inning which put the Lakers over the hump.

What didn't happen was Warroad scoring a run in the fourth, despite having the bases loaded with no outs and DL cling-ing to a 3-0 lead.
