North Carolina man charged in racially-tinged Iron Range stabbings
A North Carolina man has been charged with three felony counts of assault counts for a weekend incident in which two men were stabbed in Virginia.
Quincy Lamont Pemberton, 31, is charged with one count of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He appeared in Minnesota District Court in Virginia, where bail was set at $100,000. A request for supervised release was denied. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
