Minnesota State Moorhead has added a three-time state finalist to its wrestling program.

New York Mills senior Shane Novak has verbally committed to the Dragons.

Novak finished second at 120 pounds in Minnesota Class 1A earlier this month. He was a state champion at 113 pounds as a junior and runner-up at 112 as a sophomore.

“I liked the campus,” said Novak. “It’s a small campus. I come from a small town.”
