Officials say Crookston Winter Shows fire was arson
Crookston police said arson has been confirmed as the cause of the Dec. 9 fire at the Winter Shows building.
he investigation was conducted by the Crookston Police Department, Crookston Fire Department and the Deputy State Fire Marshal Kevin Mahle.
The fire department responded to three separate fires at about 8:20 p.m. that night at 1915 University Ave. in Crookston. Crews said the building had been broken into and some repair manuals, papers, boxes and a couch inside had been set on fire.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the International Association of Arson Investigators for information leading to the identity of the persons responsible for the fire.
