One dead, three wounded in Mankato shooting

MANKATO, Minn. — One person died and three others were injured in a shooting early Easter Sunday outside a Mankato events center.

Mankato police were called at 1:53 a.m. Sunday to the Kato Entertainment Center, which hosts receptions and other private parties.


Police found four people had been shot. The names of the shooting victims had not been released. Police said those wounded by gunfire sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a Mankato hospital.
