One dead, Traill County (N.D.) Sheriff injured in I-29 accident
HILLSBORO, N.D. - A woman was killed and Traill County Sheriff Mike Crocker was injured when a semi truck struck his squad car as he was helping another vehicle that had gotten stuck on Interstate 29 on Tuesday, the Highway Patrol said.
Two women whose vehicle had become stuck about 8 miles north of Hillsboro at about 4:30 p.m. were walking back to Crocker's vehicle when a semi hit the squad car and one of the women, a 20-year-old from Watertown, S.D.
