One man tazed in Bluffton brawl
A fight early Sunday morning outside the Bluffton Bar left one rowdy tazed and confused.
According to a Wadena County Sheriff's Office report, a deputy responded to a fight in progress outside the bar in Bluffton at about 1:30 a.m. The deputy indicated in his report upon arrival he observed a large number of people in the street, including a shirtless male fighting with a female. The deputy, according to his report, approached the two and gave several commands to stop. The male had his arm wrapped around the back of the female's neck with what is described as a "tight hold", according to the deputy.
The deputy then instructed the male to stop in a loud voice or he would be tazed. After no compliance the deputy stunned the man on the right side. The man then complied and released his hold.
The deputy then had to tell two more males to stop acting aggressively during the situation or they too would be tazed.
Otter Tail County Sheriff's deputies, a New York Mills police officer, and the Wadena Police Department also responded to the scene.
No arrests were made at the time of the incident.
