Ottertail man injured after pickup hits ditch
OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. - A 43-year old Ottertail man suffered nonlife-threatening injuries when he did not stop at a posted intersection Friday and ended up in a ditch, reported the sheriff's department here.
James Leske was traveling eastbound on County Highway 52 when he crossed over State Highway 29, going into the east ditch in his 2005 Chevrolet Montana pickup.
Leske, the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered an injury to his right leg as well as some cuts and bruises to his face and head, according to a release by the sheriff's office.
Leske was wearing his seatbelt and the airbags deployed. He was taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena. The vehicle suffered heavy damage and was towed from the scene.
