Sept. 12, 1950-Feb. 17, 2012
Patricia Ann (Borah) Kind was taken suddenly but peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2012 in Everett, Wash.
Patricia was born to Wesley and Alice (Pederson) Borah on September 12, 1950, in Detroit Lakes. She was married to LeeRoy Kind on December 16, 1972. Her son Adam was the joy of her life. Often she would tell others what a fine young man he had become. She was well loved by all of her friends and family, who gave her the title of "the Roca Queen" for her famous Almond Roca that she made every Christmas.
Patricia graduated from nursing school in 1969. She served in several facets of health care for 40 years and had served for the last 20 years at Marshall Elementary School (Marysville, Wash). Known simply as "Nurse Pat," she bandaged up the cuts and scrapes of many kids. She also spent much of her time with the school's special needs students, who she dearly loved.
Surviving Patricia are her husband LeeRoy (Marysville, Wash.) and son Adam (Moab, Utah); siblings Wesley (Kim) Borah, Lake Park, Barb (Mike) Wirth, Davenport, N.D., Judy (Gary) Wenner, Burnsville, Minn., and Joyce (Bill) Johnson, Kingston, Tenn.; as well as eight nieces, seven nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Wesley and Alice (Pederson) Borah, and siblings Jane (Christensen), Joseph, Rebecca, Joan (Wade) Rollag.
